What We're about

Modern Times Publishing is preparing for the future by returning to the past.

Like Charlie Chaplin – or Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Maurice Merleau-Ponty – we believe that the absurdity of reality has the power to either break our spirits down, or lift them up to existential heights.

Our first series, "Lost Canons," reissues books forgotten by some – but not all. Our second series, "Periodics," anthologizes magazines old and new.
